A few years ago I wrote a book called THE LAST TIGER about the demise of the Australian thylacine, or Tassie tiger.
The idea for the novel was originally sparked by some investigative journalism into the subject. I interviewed a number of SW Victorians about sightings they'd reported of the tiger in their area. They all seemed genuine and it sparked my interest.
Now, it seems, the tiger is back in the news after another sighting close to where I investigated. Interesting reading, and an even more interesting photograph.
